Test for Hydrogen Peroxide bleach fastness:

Recipe:

Hydrogen Peroxide   = 5 ml/litre  (35% Conc)

Sodium Silicate           = 5 ml/litre

Adjust the pH to 10.5

Keep the MLR as 1:30 ; bleach the fabric sample  in this solution at 95C for 60 minutes.

Wash the fabric sample thoroughly in cold running water. Neutralize with acetic acid, wash again and drip dry.

Compare the bleached and before bleaching samples and grade the fastness with grey scale.
