Reactive ME dyes:
The major reasons for using Reactive ME dyes are:
-
More than 90% reproducibility
-
Almost 100% bulk to bulk reproducibility
-
Better Light fastness than other class of dyes
-
Better chlorinated poor water fastness
-
Least affected by hardness of process water
-
Least metamerism
Suggested Trichromy for Deep Shades:
Reactive G.Yellow MERL
Reactive Red ME4BL
Reactive Blue MERF
Suggested Trichromy for Light Shades:
Reactive G.Yellow MERL or Reactive Yellow ME4GL
Reactive Red ME3BL
Reactive Blue MERF
This trichromy is least sensitive to Dyebath variables such as Salt addition, Alkali addition, Time of Dyeing, Temperature of dyes and MLR variation.
All these dyes in Trichromy have similar Primary Exhaustion, Secondary Exhaustion and Fixation.
