APPC-LV "Pressurized cabinet for hank and hosiery dyeing"

For processing high quality hand and machine-knitting yarns in wool, HB acrylic, cashmere, mohair and blends.
The machine performs in a single operation the phases of scouring, neutralization, bleaching, dyeing and softening after mercerization on high quality cotton yarns for circular knitting, sewing thread, hand and flat knitting, man's socks industries.
Operation under static pressure 0.4 Bar up to 110°C temperature. Rugged construction completely in AISI 316 austenitic stainless steel. Dyeing chamber thickness 6 mm.
Available capacities from 40 to 400 kgs in modular sizes. Interchangeable carriers for hank reeling 54" (860 mm. hank length) and 72" (970 mm.).
Versions for hank sizes of 54" (COT 700) and 92" (COT 1200). Version for hank reeling 90" (1070 mm.). Normal and "Jumbo" by interchangeable stick spacing.

External axial liquor circulation pump.
Reversible liquor circulation pump for quality processing of delicate yarns in conditions of high liquor flow rate at reduced head pressure values.
External installation eliminates high liquor turbulence in area occupied by yarn hanks: tangle-free yarn condition facilitates high speed hank-to-cone winding. Inverter stepless speed control of pump.
The pump is equipped with mechanical seals without cooling and maintenance. Drive by coaxial high power factor motor. Pump installed at floor level in rear side of cabinet.

Low liquor ratio.
Dyeing liquor ratio 10 :1 with cotton. Low liquor ratio determines rapid pay-back of investment by reduced water and steam consumption, savings in terms of chemicals and salts added in fixed concentrations based on liquor volume. Reduced waste water pollution.

Automatic door closing and locking system.
Consists of a double set of pneumatic pistons allowing for high-density loading of bulky yarns without manual interventions. Automatic one-touch push-button operation.

Air cushion pressurization.
Pressurization by air cushion system eliminates continuous external liquor circulation in a lateral expansion tank, with advantages of steady liquor temperature, savings of power, steam, cooling water, improved dyehouse environment.

Automatic liquor preparation/recovery tank.
Special rapid transfer pump fitted on liquor preparation tank for high speed transfer (90 seconds), forced liquor mixing, forced liquor drain in order to reduce downtimes.

Variable loading and automatic coupling system.
Two-kier machines are loaded at half capacity simply by using a loader with lower height. Automatic coupling by mixing pump and piping for connection of machines for extended batches and operating flexibility.

Accessories for mercerized cotton.
- Dyestuffs and alkali linear/exponential dosing system DL.
- Automatic centralized color kitchens up to 6 tanks with presetting for link with computer dispensing of powder dyes and liquid chemicals.
- Chlorite steam damping device.
- Automatic drain water separation for heat recovery and selective treatment.
- Automatic liquor recycle system for additions of dyes and chemicals at constant liquor ratio.
- Automatic salt volumetric dosing unit DSC-350. APPC-LV is based on the experience of over 3,000 machines in operation worldwide.

The APP 1 LV is used for preliminary dyeing tests on hanks. The machine is pressurized at 0.4 bars, 110 degrees centigrade.

Rated capacity:1 hank of 1 kg approximately.

The apparatus is configured with electronic sensors and pneumatic automatic valves to allow to perform all the functions of the dyeing cycle in a completely automatic way by means of the process controlling computer Leo PC, and without the need of the continuos intervention of the operator.

The typical functions automatically performed are:
· Filling at level.
· Operator call ·Introduction of the products from the adding tank at controlled speed (dosing).
· Circulation with automatic programmed control of the pump speed ·Programmed heating
· Temperature holding ·Operator call for sample
· Dye bath recirculation from machine to adding tank
· Color correction cycle ·Indirect cooling
· Continuous rinsing by overflow
· Direct cooling
· Drain

The brain of the machine is the PROCESS CONTROLLING COMPUTER SYSTEM “LEONARDO PC 500” Developed on personal computer with Windows operating system to control from 1 to 5 machines completely automatically 
The computer is able to execute in real time from 1 to a maximum of 5 different simultaneus cycles on different machines. This is made possible by the calculus capacities of the computer and by the specifically Loris Bellini designed software. The machine can be equipped with an automatic color kitchen with six separate tanks which introduction into the main products adding tank is programmable. The color kitchen enlarges enormously the managing flexibility of the apparatus, making the dosing process fully automatic once the tanks are filled with the products to dose.
