GREASE STAINS | A common stain that can be observed in the fabric received from loom shed is either lubricating oil stains or grease stains. The occurrence of the stain may be through out the length of fabric or at
specific spots only. So according to the condition, we have to decide whether the stain can be removed by spot treatment or by treating the whole batch in a suitable processing machine.
Spot Treatment: Nowadays in all export houses where quality of the fabric is very important, you might have seen the electrically operated spray guns. Using the spray guns, WHITE PETROL is sprayed on the fabric containing stain. Before
spraying the White Petrol, a waste fabric that does not have any stain, is kept below the stained fabric, so that the dissolved grease or oil when coming out of the fabric, will be absorbed by the waste. Since white petrol is odorless and evaporates very
quickly, the stain gets removed easily.
